Kanye West Announces Releases Date For ‘SWISH’ & It’s Sooner Than You Think

If you’re anxiously awaiting Kanye West’s new album, you won’t have to wait long! The rapper revealed the release date for his upcoming project ‘SWISH’ on Twitter Jan. 8…and it’s sooner than any of us expected.

Kanye West, 38, is definitely going to be back to owning the music scene in 2016! After months of teasing us with news of his new album, SWISHKim Kardashian’s husband announced when the record will be hitting stores — and it’s not far away at all!
Yep, SWISH comes out on Feb. 11…just over one month away! Yeezy tweeted the news on Jan. 8, just hours after he dropped two new songs, “Real Friends,” and “No More Parties.” And if the 11th of Feb. is still too far away from you, don’t worry — it looks like we’ll be getting new music from ‘Ye every Friday leading up to the big day.
“Friiiiiiiiiiday!!!!!! New music!!!” Kim wrote on Twitter, ahead of the release of “Real Friends.” “#EveryFriday #Swish #RealFriends.” Kanye pulled a similar stunt back in 2010 called G.O.O.D Fridays, during which he put out a new song every Friday for a few weeks ahead of the release of his album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. The exact track-listing for SWISH hasn’t been released yet, but the 38-year-old has definitely had a few promising songs since 2013’s Yeezy that could possibly make it on his newest piece of art. He was featured on the hit collaboration “FourFiveSeconds” with Rihanna and Paul McCartney in early 2015, then debuted the songs “Wolves,” with Sia, and “Fade,” with Ty Dolla $ign and Post Malone during his Yeezy fashion shows last year.
